I've come here a couple times with my boyfriend and my mom and it's always been such a pleasant experience. Tonight however, was above and beyond.
My boyfriend and I just finished our late workout and wanted to grab something relatively healthy, so we knew their Happy Hour was a safe bet. We didn't realize that they closed at 2 am and we showed up right before their last call but they didn't make us feel unwelcome at all. They sat us down right away and our server was super amazing and friendly! He even made small, fun conversation with us. It made our dinner so much more enjoyable and we both were very impressed. We both have worked in the restaurant business and know how annoying it can be when people come right before close, but they didn't make us feel bad at all. We really appreciate it!
Not to mention the food is always good. I've never had any issues here and it's honestly my favorite sushi spot in town.

I gave this place a chance because of the good ratings. The pictures make this place look like a bar but it's not, just super casual.
The service was good and they didn't take that long to bring out the food.
Food was good, not amazing but good. If you're looking for a good roll place that likes to use sauces, this is the place to go. For amazing quality fish for sushi/sashimi , it wouldn't be my go to. But the fish quality was better than most but not the best.
Few things that bothered me:
1. WAY TOO Stingy with the ginger (but why?)
2. Charged to the "free edamame" for checking in on yelp (not free)
3. Wouldn't go here for sushi, it's really best for rolls -

Nice little local dive, like the late hours.
Would totally visit more if not for the short little Japanese seating hostess lol
What a rude little thing she is
The other wait staff are polite, this one gives attitude to those she doesn't like, and is overtly gregarious to those she does.
My friend recommended my fiancee and I to try this place and check out this little obnoxious being.
Well, our sushi roll was a tad soggy, albacore had a distinct metallic taste which comes from oxidation when left exposed improperly, and one of the specialty rolls contained so much mayo I nearly gagged.
The management may want to properly train or remove the girl in question as she is definitely a blight on the establishment and may very well be the reason certain ppl are deterred.
What is up with these off Strip local business attitudes?! The worst I've ever encountered. -

Small location but decorated very nicely. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The fish here was wonderful and not your run of the mill sushi. I had the fresh barracuda and it so good. I loved the simple sea salt and lemon on it. I loved how simple the spicy tuna was. It was made very authentically and did not have any mayonnaise sauce on it. I absolutely loved the wasabi in the spicy tuna and the freshness. The California roll was great I loved that it did not contain any mayonnaise as filler too This is my new go to place off the strip.
